The Government Actuary is required by legislation to review the long term position of the National Insurance Fund of Great Britain (‘the Fund’) at least every five years. This report includes projections of future National Insurance contribution receipts and benefit expenditure from the Fund, over the period 2015-16 to 2080-81, to highlight the factors likely to affect the future development of the Fund.
