This report summarises the findings of a meeting of experts exploring the opportunities and implications arising from the future transport system.
The workshop considered 3 main questions around freight and logistics:
- What impact will increasing autonomy have on the freight sector?
- How will increasing use of data and technology impact the future of freight and logistics?
- How to support future demand for freight while minimising congestion and its environmental impacts?
This report was produced as part of the Foresight future of of mobility project.
