This report explores how an ageing population presents significant challenges and opportunities to UK manufacturers. It focuses on what these changes might mean for both the manufacturing workforce, and the demand for products and services in the UK, in the next 10 and 40 years.
This review was commissioned as part of the Foresight project on the future of manufacturing in the UK.
