The Forensic Science Regulator commissions an audit of the work of forensic pathologists on a regular basis. This is the report of the sixth audit, which was commissioned in 2016.

It looks at case reports about:

  • a case where the body was recovered from water
  • a case involving a body repatriated from abroad
