The Forensic Science Regulator commissions an audit of the work of forensic pathologists on a regular basis. This is the report of the fourth audit, which was commissioned in 2013.

It looks at 2 different causes of death including:

  • death resulting from a road traffic collision
  • a body found at the scene of a fire
