Sellafield Ltd shall provide an Integrated Emergency Management (IEM) programme that is planned, implemented, and tested so that internal and external stakeholders, including the members of the public, are confident in the Sellafield emergency preparedness and response capability.

This includes a timely, resilient and effective response to, and recovery from, any emergency event related to the operations of the site at any time, by any of the emergency duty teams, including the Sellafield Fire and Rescue organisation.

They will, through business continuity maintain and/or recover our priority business activities as far as is reasonably practicable in response to a threat, or a disruption being realised.
