These programmes foster impactful collaborations and support career development, offering opportunities for both academics seeking policy experience and policy professionals seeking academic insights.
There are directories for:

Exchanges include secondments/fellowships, internships/placements, and capacity-building programmes.

The following schemes have been removed from both directories: the ACCESS Leadership College Fellows, OPEN Fellowship Scheme and SEFARI Gateway. In the academia to policy directory, updates have been made across multiple scheme descriptions, including clarified career stages and refreshed wording including the Policy Associates Scheme, The Royal Society Pairing Scheme, STEM Futures, UKRI Policy Fellowships, ACCESS Summer School and OPEN Schemes. A few URLs have been refreshed, such as those for the OPSS Research Fellowship Scheme and Oxford’s OPEN schemes. In addition, new schemes have been introduced to the policy to academia directory, including OPEN Visiting Fellowships and Imperial College’s Quantum Fundamentals programme. Several descriptions and/or URLs have been revised, namely for ACCESS Summer School, Oxford’s OPEN Peer Mentoring Scheme, the Public Policy Challenge Fund, OPEN Seed Fund, STEM Futures, The Royal Society Pairing Scheme and Imperial’s AI programmes.

The following schemes have been added to the Academia to Policy directory, each with details and links to further information: MetroPolis Chancellor's Policy Fellowship, Durham Policy Fellowship Scheme and Royal Society Pairing Scheme. In addition, the entry for the British Academy Innovation Fellowships Schemes – Route B: Policy-Led has been updated. The link has been revised, and two strands of the scheme have now been explained and included. Additionally, the following schemes have been added to the Policy to Academia directory, each with details and links to further information: MetroPolis Chancellor’s Visiting Fellowships, Centre for the Evaluation of Complexity Across the Nexus (CECAN) Fellowship Scheme, Durham Policy Fellowship Scheme and Royal Society Pairing Scheme.
