The Committee on Standards in Public Life has submitted evidence to the House of Commons Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee inquiry into pre-appointment hearings.

The inquiry is considering whether the principles and practice underpinning pre-appointment hearings by Select Committees need to be updated to reflect recent developments.
