We were asked about civil servants in receipt of salaries greater than £65,738 per annum.
The Wales Office comes under the umbrella of the Ministry of Justice, and staff pay issues are dealt with by the MoJ. The only information that we hold is that as at 31 March 2010, the Wales Office had one member of the Senior Civil Service (SCS) graded at payband 2 in the salary range of £82,900 - £162,500. We also had four members of staff graded at SCS payband 1, two of whom fall within the scope of your request and whose salaries are in the range £58,200 -£117,800.
