The Central Police Training and Development Authority (Centrex) ceased to exist on 31 March 2007 and was replaced by the National Policing Improvement Agency which has taken ownership of all of PITO’s functions, assets and liabilities.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
