The Local Government Finance Settlement for 2013 to 2014 announced that £100 million of capitalisation would be available to support local authorities this year.

This guidance note sets out the timetable and procedure for local authorities wishing to apply for capitalisation directions in 2013 to 2014, and gives details of the criteria which will be used in assessing applications.
