Letter by email

Dear [redacted],

I write in response to an email received by my office on Tuesday 9 December 2025 in which you stated:

“I’m writing to ask whether any of the following fields (or similar) are already available within your system, and if so, whether you could add them to the dataset you previously provided under FOI reference BSCC-FOI-0825-HD provided 18/07/2025. The addition of ‘Invoice Received Date’ would be most helpful as would any of the other examples below:

  • Invoice due date
  • Invoice approved date
  • Invoice payment terms
  • Invoice query/dispute flag (e.g. Y/N)
  • Reason for invoice query/dispute/delay

I want to emphasise that I do not wish to create any additional work. I’m only asking for this information if it already exists in your system and can be exported easily alongside the information you’ve already supplied.

If these fields are available and can be shared, I’d be very grateful if you could provide them (even if this means treating it as a new request). If not, please just let me know and I’ll make a note — there’s no need to take any further action.”

Your request has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

As an arms-length body of the Home Office, OBSCC use Home Office procurement processes, which are managed by a central finance team in the Home Office. After sharing the detail you have requested with that team, they have advised that the above fields are not held within their system. However, I can confirm that the standard Home Office invoice payment term is 30 days.

If you are dissatisfied with this response, you may request an independent internal review of our handling of your request by submitting a complaint within two months to the address below, quoting reference BSCC-FOI-1725-HD. If you ask for an internal review, it would be helpful if you could say why you are dissatisfied with the response.

As part of any internal review, our handling of your information request will be reassessed by staff who were not involved in providing you with this response. If you remain dissatisfied after this internal review, you have a right of complaint to the Information Commissioner as established by section 50 of the Freedom of Information Act.

Kind regards
