Behavioural sciences: new perspectives for policy making

Report exploring the role of the behavioural sciences in government policy making.

This report sets out the findings of a workshop on the role for evidence from the neurosciences, and the other behavioural sciences, in government’s thinking on behaviour change.

The event was co-sponsored by the Government Chief Scientific Adviser, Cabinet Office Behavioural Insights team and the Government Economic and Social Research professions. It brought together leading experts from behavioural science disciplines with representatives from government analytical professions.
