The Parole Board received an application from Jordan Hart for the Parole Board hearing in the case of Sunny Nazrul Islam to be heard in public.

Summary of the application

  • Mr Islam hurt women and children from all different backgrounds to teach them a lesson and he took advantage of them on the street. As such, there is a risk that he could harm other women and children in the future.
  • It is in the public interest and the public have a right to know how the justice system has dealt with cases such as this and how they will deal with similar cases in the future.
