A judicial Parole Board member, on behalf of the Board’s Chair, has granted the application for Jack Shepherd’s parole hearing to be made public. More information about the reasons for this decision are attached.

The Ministry of Justice has now withdrawn the current referral for the Parole Board to review Mr Shepherd’s case, as he is no longer eligible to be released from custody. Any future referral(s) to the Parole Board will be a matter for the Ministry of Justice.
