This document is the advice of the Advisory Committee on Releases to the Environment (ACRE) to government on an application from Defra Exotic Disease Policy Team and the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) to carry out a veterinary clinical study of genetically modified Herpes Virus of Turkeys.

The committee advised that the risks to human health and the environment from this trial are extremely low.
