1. Narrative:

As outlined in the coronavirus (COVID-19) 16 to 19 fund guidance, ESFA requires providers to record and report spending for the 16 to 19 tuition fund grants, for both the 2020 to 2021 and 2021 to 2022 academic years, so that we can recover unspent funding.

2. Next steps

We will publish a form on this page in October 2022 so that you can detail your funding spend on the eligible activity. This will include guidance to help you complete and submit the form.

You must complete this form if you have received 16 to 19 tuition funding in the 2020 to 2021 or 2021 to 2022 academic years.

3. What happens when we receive your form?

When we receive your form, we will calculate whether you have underspent and , where identified, we will deduct this from your 2021 to 2022 tuition fund allocation.

If the amount we need to deduct is greater that your 2021 to 2022 tuition fund allocation, we will offset this against your total 16 to 19 education funding.
