Yvonne White

Biography

Yvonne White has been Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy in Luxembourg since January 2013. She is responsible for the effective operation of the Embassy; deputising for the Ambassador in his absence; and supporting the Ambassador across the board in promoting our relationship with Luxembourg.

A career public servant, she has worked in policy and operational roles in a number of public sector organisations over 25 years. As Director of Corporate Services at ComReg, the Irish communications regulator, as Deputy Director for HR in the Irish Prison Service and in the Irish Prime Minister’s Department, she has led various human resource and change management initiatives. She has also worked in a variety of social and economic policy roles, including as Head of Policy at the Irish Pensions Authority.

Yvonne has a Masters degree in Management and Organisation Studies from University College Dublin and a BA in Public Management. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Member of the Institute Luxembourgeois Des Administrateurs.

Yvonne is currently joint President of the network of Deputy Heads of diplomatic missions in Luxembourg.
