Brigadier Will Taylor OBE

Biography

Born in 1959, Will Taylor joined the Royal Marines in 1979, and arrived in Canberra as the Defence Attaché on completion of a short tour in the Naval Command Headquarters.

He served extensively in the Commando Brigade both at home and abroad, before commanding the Commando Logistic Regiment from 2005 – 2008.

His operational experience includes tours in Northern Ireland, Croatia, Bosnia, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan and Iraq.

He is a member of the Royal College of Defence Studies (2009), a graduate of the Open University (BA Hons History) and King’s College London (MA International Relations).

Will shares a home in North Devon with his wife Antonia; is an enthusiastic telemark skier, an amateur chef, and paints unrecognizable things, apparently with his fingers. His two sons Max and Sam are studying journalism and hospitality respectively.
