Biography
Vicky Bennett is General Counsel at Sellafield Ltd.
She has a strong track record of advising organisations operating in complex, highly regulated environments, particularly within the nuclear sector.
As General Counsel for Sellafield Ltd, Vicky provides legal leadership across a wide range of activities, supporting sound decision-making and effective governance focussed on enabling progress on long-term, nationally significant programmes.
In her previous role. Vicky was part of the executive team at Nuclear Waste Services Ltd.
During this time Vicky brought her experience to enable corporate transformation programmes and oversee the provision of advice on complex regulatory matters and the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
Vicky’s work is guided by integrity, pragmatism and supporting the mission. She provides clear, proportionate legal advice that balances risk, accountability, and delivery. She is also committed to developing high-performing legal teams, creating an environment in which people are empowered to contribute meaningfully and make a positive impact on the organisations they support.
