Valerie Owen
Biography
Valerie’s working career has been entirely in private sector but with an extensive Non Executive Director portfolio in the public sector. She was Managing Director of Le Vaillant Owen from 2004 – a consultancy specialising in sustainable development and regeneration. Prior to that Managing Director of London First, dealing with economic development across housing and health. Other roles include Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, where she was responsible for maximising investment returns on major property portfolios and an Equity Partner in Shenstone & Partner specialising in town planning applications for commercial developments. Non Executive Director roles include: the Church Buildings Council, East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust, Defence Infrastructure Board and Swan Housing Group.
