Tristan Pedelty

Biography

Tristan was seconded from the Cabinet Office in July 2022 to set up a new team that will establish the new Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR) introduced by the Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Bill. Previously he was a Director in the Cabinet Office from June 2018 during which time he had responsibilities for Public Bodies and appointments policy. He has also spent time at HM Treasury, the Prime Minister’s Implementation Unit and the Department for Transport. He was Head of Policy at the BBC Trust during the last BBC Royal Charter renewal. He has served as a private secretary to Prime Minister, David Cameron, and as Principal Private Secretary to the Health Secretary.
