Biography
Tim Smart is Managing Director for Phase Two of HS2. He has been interim Managing Director since January 2019 and was appointed permanently in August 2019. He will continue the work which saw the Phase 2a hybrid Bill secure a significant majority of 246 votes in its final reading in the House of Commons.

The Managing Director - Phase Two is responsible for the development of Phase Two of High Speed Two (HS2) which runs from Crewe to Manchester and the West Midlands to Leeds.
