Thomas Carter
Biography
Thomas Carter joined the FCO in 1976 and most recently was Her Majesty´s Ambassador to Guatemala. Previously he was responsible for the FCO’s global consular policy and worked on the London 2012 Olympic Games, following a four year posting as joint British High Commissioner to Zambia with his wife, Carolyn Davidson. He has had a variety of previous postings in the Americas, Asia, and Europe.
