Theresa Bubbear


Theresa has been Ambassador to Estonia since September 2016. She previously held the positions of Chargé d’Affaires and Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Budapest from August 2011 to April 2016.

Theresa joined the FCO in 1985 and has worked in Moscow, Helsinki and South Africa. She has carried out political, press, consular and commercial work overseas and human resources work in London.

Theresa is married and has three daughters.

British Ambassador to Estonia

The Ambassador represents Her Majesty The Queen and the UK government in the country to which they are appointed. They are responsible for the direction and work of the Embassy and its Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
