Teresa Kelly OBE
Biography
Teresa Kelly was appointed Deputy Further Education Commissioner in January 2016.
Teresa has been involved with education and training for all of her professional career and represented the FE sector on a number of national review and government boards. She was also:
- Associate inspector for the Further Education Funding Council for England (FEFC) and Ofsted
- Principal of Abingdon and Witney College
During her tenure the college was the first to introduce a Teaching and Learning Academy for staff, a model for ongoing quality improvement that has since been adopted by many colleges across the FE sector.
Teresa was awarded an OBE for services to FE in 2013.
