Tamya Kerr
Biography
Tamya Kerr has been with EDF Energy since December 2010 and is a finance professional with 25 years of experience. Tamya is a Trustee director of EDF Group pension scheme with 28,000 members and $5bn in net assets.
Her most recent role is as General Manager for Mpatamanga Hydro Power, a greenfield 358MW hydropower project of $1.5bn with a complex stakeholder map including World Bank, IFC, Government of Malawi and private strategic investors. The project is Malawi’s largest energy infrastructure project to date.
Tamya managed Business, Strategy and Finance executive training for EDF Group’s Corporate University based in Paris and has leadership experience at one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects, EDF UK’s Hinkley Point C as Head of Financial Control and Treasury.
Prior to that she was Vice President of Business Banking with Royal Bank of Canada in St. Maarten the Dutch Caribbean and has experience in energy trading credit risk having worked in Amsterdam with Nuon Energy (now Vattenfall) and in London with Duke Energy.
