Steve Double MP

Biography

Steve Double was Government Whip (Lord Commissioner of HM Treasury) between 28 October 2022 and 13 November 2023.

He was previously Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs between 8 July 2022 and 8 September 2022.

Before joining Defra, Steve was Assistant government whip from September 2021 to July 2022.

He has been the MP for St Austell and Newquay since 2015.
