Sian Oborne
Biography
Sian Oborne was appointed Principal Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Wales in July 2014. She is on loan to the Wales Office from the Welsh Government.
Prior to becoming Principal Private Secretary, Sian has held a variety of different positions including:
- Deputy Director of Policy, Wales Office
- Head of Strategy, Wales Office
- Head of the Economic Policy team, Wales Office
- Secretary to the Commission on Devolution in Wales, reviewing the case for the devolution of fiscal powers to Wales
