Sharon Wilkins

Biography

Sharon Wilkins has been British Deputy High Commissioner to Rwanda since June 2012. She also covers Burundi.

Sharon joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 2006. She has previously served in the UK’s Delegation to NATO in Brussels and as Private Secretary to the Director General for Europe and Globalisation at the FCO in London.

Sharon Wilkins is a graduate of the University of Cambridge. She has experience in African affairs, security policy and consular and crisis management.
