Sarah Vodden
Biography
Sarah Vodden is the Director - Business Operations for Innovate UK.
Sarah has worked at Innovate UK since 2011, joining in the role of Competitions Manager. Coinciding with the increase of competitions that Innovate UK was asked to run, she grew and managed a robust team that was able to deliver a consistent, transparent and streamlined operation.
From this, Sarah took on the role of Service Manager and led a project to develop the Innovation Funding Service. This has digitised Innovate UK’s innovation funding finder, providing an intuitive, online, end-to-end service for applicants. It meets the Government Digital Service standard on GOV.UK.
Prior to joining Innovate UK, Sarah held a number of senior roles within software and services companies within the UK. She has extensive knowledge of operational management and software projects.
