Sarah Dunn

Biography

Sarah Dunn has been Head of DFID Southern Africa since August 2011.

With over 15 years of experience working on international development for DFID she has worked in Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Rwanda); the Caribbean; and the Middle East (Occupied Palestinian Territories and Yemen).

Her particular areas of policy focus have included international trade and private sector development.

Prior to working for DFID, she worked in the Norwegian oil sector as a commercial manager. She has an MBA from the Norwegian Business School.
