Samantha Dunger
Biography
Samantha Dunger was Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Croatia. She joined the Foreign Office in 2008. Since then her roles have included Head of NATO Strategy and Engagement, Head of MENAD Geopolitics and Demographics, and Head of Information Threats Strategy.
Before her current role in Croatia, Samantha worked as the Deputy Head of the FCDO’s Gender and Children in Conflict Department. Before that, Samantha was the UK’s Political, Economic and Prosperity Counsellor in Buenos Aires. She has also served in Mexico City as Second Secretary Economic and International Trade, and First Secretary Prosperity, Press and Public Diplomacy.
Samantha has also worked in the private sector for McKinsey and Company (Mexico) and KPMG (Australia).
