Sally Berlin
Biography
Sally Berlin, was called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in July 2000. She is a Chief Adjudicator and Company Director at the Business Banking Resolution Service, a not-for-profit dispute resolution organisation, funded by major banks, using alternative dispute resolution techniques to resolve disputes between eligible enterprises and their banks. In addition, she has a role as Panel Chair at Social Work England, chairing panels to decide on fitness to practise matters affecting Social Workers. Sally was Director of Casework Operations and a Board Director at the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC), investigating potential miscarriages of justice in criminal law, until February 2021, supporting the Chief Executive with the day-to-day running of the Commission. With significant experience in casework, having been a Case Review Manager at the CCRC from 2000, Sally was responsible for the smooth running of the regular daily casework operations to ensure the key aims and objectives of the Commission were achieved.
