Rowland Coombs
Biography
Rowland’s early career was in H.M. Customs and Excise where he progressed to senior roles in both Human Resources and IT Management.
In 1999 he joined Land Registry where he initially worked in HR roles firstly in the Local Plymouth Office and later in the IS Department where in 2003 he was awarded Fellow status of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
In 2005 he was promoted to a Senior IT role as Head of IS Services Division, taking responsibility for the IT infrastructure and operation of all IT services. Since 2012 he has been Director of IS and a member of the Executive Board.
Married with 2 grown up children Rowland lives in Cornwall and spends as much spare time as possible, fishing and sailing with his wife around the south Cornwall coast.
