H.E. Rowan James Laxton
Biography
Rowan James Laxton was appointed British High Commissioner to the Republic of Cameroon in October 2017. Prior to this he was the Deputy Director and Head of Overseas Security at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
Rowan joined the FCDO in 1993 and has since worked in many departments including the Drugs and International Crime Department. He was also posted in Somalia as the Deputy Head of Mission from 2013 to 2014.
