Roger Stringer MBE
Biography
Roger Stringer MBE is His Majesty’s Ambassador to Angola and São Tomé e Príncipe (non-resident).
Mr Stringer spent 4 years in Pakistan as Political Counsellor at the High Commission in Islamabad, 2017 to 2021. His previous postings were in Paris (2012 to 2015), Kabul (2010 to 2011), Pretoria, (2007 to 2010), Islamabad (2006 to 2007) and Baghdad (2006).

The Ambassador represents His Majesty The King and the UK government in the country to which they are appointed. They are responsible for the direction and work of the embassy and its consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
