Robert James

Biography

Since leaving college, Robert has spent his career working as a lawyer. The last 20 years have been spent working on projects that focus on the marine environment, and he has seen at first hand the regulatory process involved within the sector.

Practising for 30 years, Robert spent 20 years as an Equity Partner with Morgan Bruce and Nicholas. In 2004 he decided to seek a new challenge, taking on the role of Equity Partner with Geldards LLP. In his current role he is responsible for representing the Association of British Ports, working on a range of energy capital projects, acting for the Welsh Assembly Government and the Welsh Industrial Partnership. In addition to his legal role, Robert is currently a non-executive director with Business in Focus.
