Robert Ayling
Biography
Robert Ayling has been the Independent Chair of the HM Courts & Tribunals Service Board since April 2011.
Robert was Chairman of Welsh Water until Summer 2016, was previously Chairman of Dyson Ltd and Chairman of the International Dispute Resolution Centre Ltd. Robert is a solicitor by profession, with 20 years practice in the City as a senior government legal advisor at the Department of Trade and Industry. He was Managing Director and Chief Executive of British Airways plc from 1993 to 2000.
