Rob Contractor
Biography
Rob Contractor was British Deputy High Commissioner to Apia and the Deputy Consul General in Auckland 2019 to 2022. Before this, he was the Head of Political and Economic team in British Embassy Manila.
Rob joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 1997, as Desk Officer for Malaysia, and his previous postings were:
- Deputy Head of Mission, UK Delegation to OSCE, Vienna (2012 to 2016)
- Head of Political Section, UK Delegation to NATO, Brussels (2008 to 2012)
- Head of British Embassy Office, Banja Luka (2003 to 2005)
- Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy Skopje (2001 to 2003)
