Richard Paniguian
Biography
Richard Paniguian was appointed Head, UK Trade and Investment Defence and Security Organisation in August 2008. He left the post in February 2015.
In 2015 he was awarded a knighthood in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List for services to the UK defence industry.
In 2007 he was appointed a CBE for services to business.
Richard’s previous roles include:
- Chairman, Egyptian British Business Council, 2002 to 2007
- President, UK Chamber of Shipping, 2000 to 2002
- BP Group Vice President for Russia, the Caspian, Middle East and Africa
- BP Commercial Director, Middle East
- BP Head, International Oil Trading, New York
- BP Director, Europe
