Richard Ney
Biography
Richard is the Director for Finance and Corporate Centre at the Department for Exiting the European Union. Richard runs the corporate centre jointly with Helen Mills. Their directorate is responsible for the operational running of the department. Richard sits on the Executive Board as Finance Director.
Previously, he was the Deputy Director of Finance for the Border Force at the Home Office and worked in the Cabinet Office leading on the efficiency planning for the 2015 Spending Review.
Richard spent the majority of his civil service career in what is now the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy working across a range of policy and finance management roles.
