Jac Gardner
Biography
Jac joined UKHSA as Chief People Officer in April 2022, bringing with her over 25 years’ experience in HR leadership roles. Prior to joining, Jac was Group HR Director at Arriva, a major European passenger transport operator, where she was responsible for talent, reward, organisation development and people systems across the Group.
Jac had previously spent 15 years with Rolls-Royce in several generalist HR leadership roles, and latterly, leading the UK employee relations and employment policy teams.
Jac’s industry experience, working in regulated environments with multiple stakeholders and in providing a public service so important to local communities, provides a good basis for her role within UKHSA. Jac is also a Trustee with the charity National Energy Action – a role she has held since 2017, where she chairs the People and Culture Committee.
