Philip Kendall
Biography
Philip Kendall became Administrator of Tristan da Cunha in September 2023. He reports to the Governor in Saint Helena. In this role Philip acts as President of the Island Council and Chairs the Heads of Department Meeting.
Philip is a career diplomat with over 30 years of experience and 5 previous overseas postings:
- Pyongyang (2020 to 2023)
- Seoul (2014 to 2019)
- Vienna (1996 to 2002)
- Budapest (1992 to 1996)
- Tel Aviv (1986 to 1988)
Philip has a BA (Hons) in Language Studies and speaks Korean, German and Hungarian.
