Phil Cook OBE
Biography
Phil Cook was appointed Deputy Further Education Commissioner in September 2023.
He has worked in the education sector for almost 30 years, holding both teaching and management roles.
He has held roles including:
- Group Principal and CEO of the Education Training Collective
- Principal of Stockton Riverside College
- Deputy Principal of Barnsley College
He has overseen mergers between:
- Stockton Riverside College and Redcar and Cleveland College
- Stockton Riverside College and NETA
Phil was awarded an OBE in 2022 for services to Further Education.
