Peter Bainbridge
Biography
Peter started his career at MAFF (Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food) Regional Service Centre (RSC) in Northallerton and then spent over ten years delivering Pillar 1 direct support schemes prior to moving to the Rural Development Service to deliver Pillar 2 socio-economic project-based schemes. A series of food and farming related roles followed, via Yorkshire Forward (Regional Development Agency), Government Office and Defra Policy teams in London. Peter returned to socio-economic activity in April 2013 and most recently, he has been leading the delivery of the Rural Development schemes (LEADER, Growth and Countryside Productivity) in the southern region.
