Penny Fell
Biography
Penny Fell is the Commercial Director and is responsible for overseeing all the organisation’s commercial activities.
Prior to joining DBS, Penny was Director of Commercialisation, Citizens and Shareholder Liaison for Bristol City Council where she lead 600 staff and was responsible for generating income for the Council, managing the City’s historic assets including Bristol Harbour and Markets, delivering front line information and advice services to citizens (both face to face and through our call centre), and helping to manage arm’s length companies providing waste and house building services for the City.
Penny has also held a wide range of commercial and business development roles throughout the country both in the public sector and also with charities and has served as a chair of both adult and youth magistrates court.
