Paul Tuohy
Biography
Paul joined LLW Repository Ltd in a Lead Team capacity as Head of Commercial and Procurement, in November 2021.
He previously worked for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) as Head of Category for a portfolio including Manufactured Products, Waste Services, Capital Equipment and Transportation. In his NDA role he was responsible for the development of a new group wide category management strategy, focused on high risk areas to the group.
His background is in category management, procurement, contract management and commercial leadership roles, within both highly regulated and public sector environments, and he has a special interest in how procurement can enable social value and support the delivery of benefit to local communities.
Earlier in his career Paul worked for Crown Commercial Services, a non-executive agency of the Cabinet Office, where he led the development of a £12bn Facilities Management Marketplace, which at the time was the largest public sector FM procurement in the UK.
