Dr Paul Leinster CBE
Biography
Dr Paul Leinster joined the Environment Agency (EA) in 1998, he was appointed Chief Executive in June 2008.
His previous roles include:
- Director of Operations, EA
- Director of Environmental Protection, EA
- various roles with SmithKline Beecham, BP International and Schering Agrochemicals
Paul has a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in environmental engineering from Imperial College and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management. He has recently been awarded the CBE.
