Nicola Leahey

Biography

Nicola was infected with Hepatitis C through blood transfusions.
Nicola has been a strong advocate for the patient voice throughout a long career in the NHS, including 30 years as a senior manager and serving 9 years as an NHS Trust Lead Governor.
Nicola is a core participant to the Inquiry and has been a ‘lived experience’ member of the Infected Blood Psychological Service, and has supported the design and rollout of the service.
